When it comes to SPF products many people ( including myself in the past) seem to think they are only needed during the Spring/Summer seasons but nope they are needed throughout the year. I can see why people might think they don't need it no more because during the Autumn/Winter months shops don't sell much SPF products and the weather is usually dull/cold/cloudy.

Now, this is where this amazing Primer comes in! Ark Skincare has recently brought out this award-winning Skin Protector SPF 30 Primer (RRP £36.00) which is an amazing multi-tasker in which its a primer, SPF and moisturiser. The brand is also made in Britain and the products are vegan and cruelty-free.
The packaging on this primer is just lovely! It comes in a sturdy box and the bottle itself looks very nice and you can easily tell its a premium and it's well constructed. The pump on the bottle is perfect too as it gives the right amount of product every time. It also has a lovely fresh natural smell that reminds me so much of botanical products.
The texture of the primer itself is smooth and almost silk-like. Applying it is rather nice because it absorbs cleanly into the skin without being streaky or chalky looking like some SPF face products.
This is the perfect luminous base for makeup as it helps be the perfect base for makeup products. It also helps improve the way makeup looks on the face since its a good base for it. This can be used as on its own ( since its moisturising) or after using your usual moisturiser. It protects, hydrates and provides the skin with a lovely healthy glow.
I just love that it has clinically proven benefits such as the fact it has a defence against UVA and UVB rays to prevent sun damage and premature ageing. Since I live in a big city I am glad that it has an advanced antioxidant system to protect against the effects of pollutants that can be a factor when living the city life.

How do you use this primer?
I use this after cleansing and moisturizing in the morning. I smooth this over my face and neck, I like the be generous too as I like to make sure I am being protected against UV rays. This can be used alone ( I like using as a sunscreen on my makeup-free days) or as a primer for makeup. This can be used by any age and gender too.
