Secret Scent Box is a monthly perfume subscription box that helps you discover designer perfumes or aftershave. The supply lasts 30 days, allowing you to try new fragrances and see if you like them.
Read on to find out my thoughts on the 3 designer scents they sent me this month
Top Notes: Rose, Honeysuckle, Tangerine
Middle Notes: Jasmine, Tiare Flower, Clemetine
Base Notes: Musk, Patchouli, Sandalwood
First Impressions
I really like this fragrance, for me it smells very sophisticated. It has a very modern yet classic smell. The floral blend with the musk and fruity notes is just lovely. The bottle for me isn't my cup of tea, but the fragrance is just beautiful.
Would I purchase it?
Maybe? Not sure I would
Tommy Hilgier - Tommy Girl Vibrant Summer
Top Notes: Bergamot Oil, Aquatic Watermelon
Middle Notes: Neroli, Gardenia
Base Notes: Sand Vetiver Oil, Sweet Musk
First Impressions
Hmm, not my cup of tea to be honest, too much of a watermelon smell and not much else for me. I like watermelon, but not have a strong top note. The bottle looks ok, too.
Would I purchase it?
No
Karl Lagergeld - Tokyo Shibuya
Top Notes: Watery Notes, Citruses, Rhubarb
Middle Notes: Magnolia, Peony, Cherry Blossom
Base Notes: White Musk, Cedar, Amber
First Impressions
The rhubarb and floral notes in this are just lovely, very different from other fragrances I have tried before. I like this perfume, it's light yet fun. The bottle is simple but nice.
Would I purchase it?
Maybe
Final Thoughts
As much as I have enjoyed trying Secret Scent Box, I think it's best to cancel my subscription with them for a while. I think it's a little on the expensive side, and some of the perfumes they send aren't much more than the price of this box. I have had fun discovering new perfumes with them. Lots of fun!
If you love trying something new, I would definitely recommend them for sure.
Thanks so much for ready my review of this month's secret scent box. Check out my other perfume reviews for more perfume goodness!
