Primark Perfumes Review: Dupes of designers?

Primark Perfumes Review: Dupes of designers?
I have been going to Primark for many years, but only just tried PS.. Primark perfumes last year, I know, terrible, right? I first remember going with my friends back when I was 14 in Newcastle, which was a good few years ago. Ever since then, I have bought a variety of things, from newborn clothes and pyjamas, etc., but never perfume... until recently!

I forgot to take my perfume with me before going on a trip to London for my birthday last year, so I went to Primark for a cheap alternative. That's when I picked up my first Primark perfume; now I have four of them in my collection.

Looking on social media, I saw so many people saying there are some amazing budget dupes to be found in Primark. I have some of them. I will throw in my two cents and tell you my thoughts.

Primark Perfumes Review: Dupes of designers?

Red Flambe -  ( Tom Ford - Lost Cherry)

I have never tried Tom Ford Lost Cherry before, but it's on my wishlist, but for the price £390, it can just stay there haha!!

Red Flambe is a fruity yet spicy perfume. You can smell cherries for sure, nice and sweet with a nice twist of spice. The fragrance is very sexy and sophisticated, and I would point it to more of an evening perfume.

Pink Gourmand - ( Paris Corner - Khair Confection)

I am not sure about the dupe for this yet, I have looked at my perfumes, and it's a little bit like my Paris Corner - Confection. For me, this is very sweet, kinda like candy and marshmallows. It has fruity and floral notes for sure. I really like this one.

It's lovely and a fun perfume, perfect for sunny days or holidays. I like it a lot.

Regent - Parfums De Marly - Delina

Now the same with Tom Ford, I really want to get Delina by Parfums de Marly, but the price, oh lord, the price! I found Regent on sale for £1, and wow, I'm impressed, it has to be the best £1 I have spent. It's fresh, fruity and musky.

I really love this perfume as an everyday perfume. light and beautiful. The first note I notice is fresh roses followed by fruity and musk notes.

Taboo -  Maison Francis Kurkdjian’s Baccarat Rouge 540

Now this may be an expensive perfume, but it's not one I have been wanting to buy at 245! I have seen so many negative comments on it on perfume pages. I really won't commit to perfume that price haha!

Out of all of the perfumes I have so far, I am not sold on this one so much. It smells old-fashioned (now I like old-fashioned smells normally) with roses. I can't describe it, just not my cup of tea.

Final Thoughts

I am impressed, to be honest. For the price of £3? brilliant. They do smell a little bit of alcohol when you first spray them, but once they dry down, they smell very nice.

The lasting power of these perfumes is OK. They last about 3 hours before needing another application. If you want a longer-lasting power, I would suggest layering them with other perfumes.

Thanks so much for reading my thoughts on Primark perfumes. Look out for my other posts on fragrance, trust me, guys, there are many to come.

Until next time Mel x
