Fat Cow Skincare is a new brand to me and I am sure it's quite new to some of my readers too! The brand was founded by Ryan who was tired of seeing skincare products on the shelves filled with toxic, irritating and nasty ingredients. He wanted something more natural which is good for your skin.

Why Tallow?
Tallow is incredibly compatible with our skin, due to both having a similar fatty-acid profile. It’s packed with bioavailable vitamins and nutrients that your skin needs for optimal health— fat-soluble vitamins B12, A, D, E & K — in a form that’s easy for your skin to use.
What I got from Fat Cow Skincare
- Tallow Body Cream - the texture of this cream is just divine! It's like a creamy clotted cream texture that melts into the skin. Absorbs quickly into the skin. A nice refreshing floral scent, not overpowering though which is a plus in my books.
- Tallow Face Cream - I was nervous trying this because I thought it might smell of tallow but nope it didn't, it has a lovely light delicate scent. It has a gorgeous consistency just like the body cream. It has anti-ageing properties and is good even for delicate skin.
- Lip Balm - unlike other lip balms on the market, this has no chemical-filled petroleum jelly. This comes in a handy little tin, so it's perfect to carry in your bag.
- Non-toxic deodorant - this deodorant is aluminium-free, fragrance-free and non-toxic. I prefer using more natural products on my underarms. I have tried this a few times already and it works wonders.
- Tallow soap - this is a head-to-toe cleansing soap bar. I have not had a chance to give this soap a whirl yet, when I do I will update you guys!
My thoughts
I'm pleasantly surprised by these products! They don't smell bad at all, if anything they have a lovely delicate smell. Using tallow-based products has definitely opened my eyes to trying out more natural products on the market.
I also love the packaging of the skincare, a lot of care has gone into making these!
