Stack and Still - Glasgow | Review
Pancakes are one of my favourite desserts...like ever! When I saw advertising on a first bus about a pancake restaurant in Glasgow central I just knew I had to visit to see what amazing pancake options they have to offer. Stack & Still is the biggest urban pancake house in the UK!

Stack & Still have a huge menu... so huge that if you went there every day for the next 35,000 years you wouldn't have the same pancake twice! The menu is very versatile as well with so many options including a make your own and also combinations they have come up with two from the sweet and savoury menus. If you are vegan they have a pancake option and also they have gluten free options as well as a protein pancake!

The outside decor looks amazing and has some retro vibes to it, that continues once you walk into the building too. They are a wide variety of table styles and chairs, so they are plenty of room for single people or even parties. We didn't wait long to be seated by a friendly waitress who got a 2 seater placed next to the large window which was ideal as it helped give me these ultra amazing blog photos.

We got a menu each which had lots of pancakes choices to choose from including a make your own option up. They also had a few sides to choose from including pancake fries which I didn't get a chance to order but I definitely want to try out next time. On the table, there is a jar with the cutlery and also a drinks menu which has a variety of soft drinks and also alcoholic drinks including cocktails!
Stack and Still - Glasgow | Review
We ordered different pancakes one from the sweet menu and one from the savoury menu. I will do a little description on both of them.

Steak Stack
Rosemary & Parmesan savoury pancakes with marinated braised beef brisket with a pickle, mustard, onion rings and a yummy gruyere stack and still beer gravy.
I have never tried a savoury pancake before so trying this was a new culinary adventure for me for sure. Everything about these pancakes was just divine from the soft beef brisket to the mouth-watering gravy, just heaven.

Strawberries & Cream
A buttermilk stack with meringue, strawberries, Chantilly cream pecans and a delicious chocolate sauce.
This was displayed beautifully on the plate with a good serving of every ingredient. The buttermilk pancakes were lovely and hot and so soft that they melted in my mouth with every bite. I had 3 pancakes on my plate but my god with the pancakes and the ingredients were so filling that I had to ask for a box so I could finish the rest at home. Money well spent though because they have to be the best pancakes I have ever tried.
Stack and Still - Glasgow | Review
I am so glad I finally got to go here and is a place I would 100% go back too in the future, its a pancake heaven. The environment is lovely, they are plenty of seating, its bright with the lights and natural daylight and the choices of the pancakes is just mind boggling!

I loved everything about this place and I can't wait to try another cocktail and pancake next time I get a chance to visit.

November Beauty Favourites

November Beauty Favourites

I can't believe its nearly Christmas and how fast the year 2018 has been! In November I didn't wear as much makeup as I usually do but I did have a firm few favourites that I loved wearing on the days that I wore makeup. I totally nearly forgot to post this post so its up way later than the usual beauty favourite post would be up.

Novembers makeup was just makeup I would do in less than 15 minutes and most of the choices are neutrals because I think they look better with my bleached blonde hair. I am saving up the vibrant and sparkly looks for December seeing as its the party season aha.

My November Favourites
Too Faced Melted Latex in Hopeless Romantic
This first featured as one of my monthly beauty favourites back in July and I still love it now. I wore this for a family wedding and I am so glad I did as it went perfectly with my outfit and I got so many compliments wearing it. I am so thankful to my friend Ummbaby for gifting me this as it happens to be my favourite nude lipstick, like ever. Just wanted to say Ummbaby ( Sal ) is a very friendly amazing blogger and Instagrammer, definitely give her a follow.

Kat Von D 'Metal Crush' Extreme Highlighter  in Gammaray
I have to say my highlight game has been absolutely dazzling this year and that's thanks to mostly my Kat Von D highlighters. The highlighters are so sparkly and pigmented, they are always my go-to highlighter as I know they will last all day. Gammaray is as the name suggests EXTREME HIGHLIGHTER... its justs blinding and out there that you only need a small amount. It is a lovely pink/copper hue and works wonders on cheekbones, cupids bow and eyebrow arches.

Loreal Infallible 24 hour Foundation in Linen
This has to be my favourite high street foundation that I have ever tried, it is just brilliant. It works well with the infallible primer as a base and it glides onto the skin like silk, its very light and pretty much weightless when on the skin. It has light-medium coverage and can be buildable depending on what you like.

3INA The Eyebrow Kit
Now I am usually a girl who loves wearing eyebrow pomades but this kit is up there with favourite eyebrow products. It has 2 eyebrow powders and wax with tweezers, not forgetting 2 mini eyebrow brushes and not only that, the palette itself has a mirror so its an all-around amazing product.
November Beauty Favourites
NYX Liquid Liner
I have been wearing eyeliner for many years now and this eyeliner has to be one of my favourites to use. It's easy to create a variety of looks from everyday liners to glam looks, it is so damn versatile, I love it.

Kat Von D Shade and Light Eyeshadow Palette
I usually go for more vibrant eyeshadow palettes but this palette sure won me over as its perfect for everyday looks and it's also perfect for glam looks, its a palette I didn't know I needed till I got it. It has a matte finish and blends perfectly together, it can also be used with shimmer and glitter eyeshadows too.

MUA Luxe Bronzer
I got this a few months back in the Halloween Edition Glossybox and I got to say it is one of my staple bronzers, its great. I love using it as a contour or to add definition to my cheekbones. It's not my favourite bronzer by any means but I love the glow and dimension it gives.

Beauty kitchen SPF30 Mineral Shield Daily Primer
I know it may sound daft but I never knew you could get primers with SPF in them, I always thought you needed a separate product. This is a mineral primer that I was lucky enough to get in a Triyit box offers up SPF30 and has 5-star protection against UVA/UVB rays. Not only is it natural product buts its suitable for all skin tones and skin types ( even like my sensitive skin).

What products did you love in November?

Lush The World's Smallest Disco | Review

Lush the worlds smallest disco

Wow, is it me or has the year 2018 gone by ridiculously fast? Anyways Lush has got a fabulous selection of Christmas products this year that I didn't know where to start, I just put 2 random bath bombs in my basket because its a nightmare choosing when shops are busy.

I had to get 'The World's Smallest Disco' as I just love the name and design of this bath bomb. I did look online at the reviews before purchasing and it has a mixture of good and bad so I wanted to try it out for myself to see for myself. I must start the post by saying my goodness the price of the things in Lush has gone up so much lately don't you think? Kinda shocked this cost £5.25!
lush the worlds smallest disco review
 Design
Well, I can't fault the design at all, it looks flawless in my opinion. I do think the name matches the product and I love the brightness of the circles.

Scent
The scent of this is citrus and the key in ingredients are Persian Lime Oil, Grapefruit Oil and Cognac Oil. It didn't remind me of any other bath bombs I have tried in the past but it does have a lovely fresh smell. It also has popping candy inside which is a nice and fun surprise.

As soon as I put this into the bath the colours burst in all directions and it made such a gorgeous display and it went on for a good 5 minutes, it was lovely. Once it melted away I realised it didn't have any popping sounds...maybe mine didn't have any popping candy? lol

Once it completely melted it made my bath water into a lovely black and wow it looked stunning and felt quite nice on the skin too. I did find that the fragrance was barely there and I could barely smell anything compared to the many bath bombs I have tried in the past which is a shame.

I did enjoy my bath as the bath water felt silky and my skin did feel soft after I got out the bath. Once I drained the bath water it did stain my bathtub afterwards so I had to clean it up which is ok because it happens with most bath bombs and its easy to clean.

lush the worlds smallest disco review
Even though it gave such a gorgeous display in my bath and looked wonderful while relaxing I did find the scent wasn't brilliant and mine was missing the popping candy. Now I know that may sound small but when your paying £5.25 for a bath bomb you would expect it to have a stronger smell and also to have popping candy inside if you know what I mean.

I am looking forward to trying out more of the Lush Christmas collection in the future; what suggestions do you have for me?

Birchbox December 2018 | Review

Birchbox december 2018
It's been ages since I last treated myself to a Birchbox so I just had to jump on the Black Friday offer of 2 boxes for £5... Bargain eh? Anyways I was just in time for the Christmas themed Birchbox...some will say I timed it but I never ( I did really LOL). This months theme is 'Twinkle all the way' which is just perfect for the sparkly box design with all its blue sparkles and randomly placed stars.

Birchbox is a beauty inspired monthly subscription box. The box comes every month and costs £10 plus P&P but you can save money by buying quarterly, every 6 months or yearly. Decembers box has 2 extra treats seeing as its Christmas this month.
Birchbox December review
Inside 'Twinkle all the Way' Birchbox

LARITZY Cosmetics | Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Power | RRP £20
( Full Size )
This is a liquid lipstick that delivers rich pigmented colour that won't budge. It has a comfortable texture and is non-dried out a matte finish. The red is very vibrant and something I love to wear to boost my confidence and also to look fabulous of course.

Oh K! | Bubble Sheet Mask | RRP £7.50
 ( Full Size )
I have always wanted to try out a bubble mask so getting this is a big plus. This mask reacts with oxygen in the air to form tiny bubbles. It creates a foamy finish which is bound to cause giggles... I am guaranteed to have a good laugh at myself when I see myself in the mirror I am sure. It purifies the face while smoothing the skin for a radiant complexion.

Balance Me | Flash Cleanse Micellar Water | Full size is priced at £16
( Sample Size )
This cleanser is 99% natural and contains a blend of peptides, chamomile, neroli and mandarin to support skins natural regeneration process. I got to say it sounds promising and its great you don't need to wash it off after either.

Smashbox | Photo Finish Smooth and Blur Primer | Full size is priced at £26
( Sample Size )
I have always wanted to try Smashbox but I just never got round to it, so I am chuffed I get to try out this primer. It is a clear gel primer that smoothes out pores and fine lines and wrinkles. It can be used on its own or as a base for makeup.

Percy & Reed | Totally TLC Hydrating Mask | Full Size is priced at £22
( Sample Size )
I am a huge fan of the Percy & Reed dry shampoo so I am excited to try this out on my damaged bleached blonde hair. I use hair masks quite often to keep my hair feeling soft and this one contains nourishing ingredients to keep hair feeling soft and manageable. You use this by washing hair with a shampoo then this mask then your usual conditioner.

Extra Treats

Birchbox Hair Comb | RRP £5
This comb works on tangles and the wide teeth help work through tough tangles and knots without causing breakage. I am excited about giving this a whirl.

Hotel Chocolat | Chocolate Duo
Now Birchbox you are spoiling us, aren't you? I just love hotel Chocolat's chocolate as they are luxury and they have so many lovely flavours. I am eating them as I write this.
Birchbox December 2018 review
I just love box design, what's not to love about sparkles right? I love that it opens like a draw too so this can be used as something else later. The contents of the box are spot on too as you get so many products for the money including 3 full sized products and some good size samples of premium brands. I am excited to try the Smashbox primer the most as it is one I have wanted to try for a while now.

If you want to know more about the Birchbox subscription box and what else they have on offer check out their website here.

Yankee Candle All Is Bright | Review

Hello everyone!

Over the years I have lost track of how many candles and fragrances I have tried... all I know is that its a lot and its probably a number that will make me fall off my seat LOL. Yankee Candle is one of my favourite candle brands and it's easy to see why; they have so many scents and products, you are spoiled for choice.

I used to buy mostly the medium and large jars but that all changed a few months back. I decided to use only the tea lights and the wax melts because I love having different scents constantly and having wax melts and tea lights were more cost effective for me.
Yankee Candle All Is Bright review
Yankee Candle has been a firm favourite brand of mine for years now! They have barely let me down when it comes to fragrances. Christmas fragrances from them have to be my ultimate favourite though as having a Christmas themed scent on in the background instantly warms up the place and its so refreshing having spicy/sweet smells in the background; whether you're watching the TV, writing a blog post or even reading a book.

Now you may be wondering why on earth is she writing about something like tea lights? Well, I just love having different scents in my home and for me, I like to share my thoughts on each candle, wax melt or diffuser I try not matter the size.
Yankee Candle All is bright review
The fragrance 'All Is Bright' won me over instantly when I was shopping for which Christmas Yankee Candle to buy. This has a blend of sparkling citrus and warm musk.

Fragrance Notes
Top: Grapefruit, Orange
Mid: Redcurrant
Base: Sweet Musk

All is bright comes in a variety of sizes from a wax melt up to a large jar. Prices start at £1.79.
I have never bought Yankee candle tealights before as I usually just go for the wax melts or the large jars. I did like using the tealights but would I buy them again I am not so sure about that. I am not won over as I do prefer using the wax melts as the scent is much more potent and more noticeable that way. Now I won't complain too much as they did smell lovely and I did notice them and was very impressed.

The scent that stands out and the one I could smell the most has to be the musk with a twist of citrus, its just so lovely and warming, I love it. I really want to try the wax melt version of this.

I have been using them in my mistletoe tealight holder and it held the tealight perfectly without any fuss getting it in or out.

Which fragrances do you like from Yankee Candle?

Glossybox December 2018 | Review

Glossybox december 2018 review
Glossybox has to be my favourite beauty subscription box this year and last months November's Glossybox was the best box by far. I have been with Glossybox over 6 months now and overall they have been super amazing and I can't complain!

This months theme is 'All That Glitters Edition' which name reminds me of a musical from the 1950s haha. Inside this months box is 5 full-size treats and also an extra treat seeing as its Christmas this month.

Glossybox is monthly beauty subscription box that could contain a variety of products including makeup, skincare, haircare and the occasional treat! Prices start at £10 a month plus P&P but you can save money if you buy quarterly, 6 month or yearly plan.

πŸŽInside 'All That Glitters Edition' Glossybox 🎁

Bellapierre Cosmetics | Shimmer Roll / RRP £19.99
Sparkles all around for Christmas right? This shimmer roll is a champagne gold colour and is a multi-use product. Not only can you use this on your eyes but it can be used on your cheekbones or body just to get a fun festive glow.

Imperial Leather | Fantasy Icons Cosmic Unicorn Shower Gel / RRP £1.99
Unicorns are everywhere at the moment, aren't they? They now even have a shower gel which is so adorable. This shower gel smells like pink grapefruit, citrus and floral aromas- I can't wait to try this shower gel out.

Vitamasques | Cosmic Pink Ruby Glitter Peel Off Mask / RRP £4.99
This mask is infused with gemstones powders and oil to energise, revitalise and firm skin. I have never tried a sparkly face mask before even though I have heard of one similar called 'Glow Job' by Too Faced.

Doucce | Relentless Matte Lip Crayon - Winterberry / RRP £16.95
This is bold vibrant red lipstick crayon which screams Christmas don't you think? Described as long lasting and deeply pigmented, it is also ultra matte- I wonder if its kiss proof? lol

Niko Pro | Liquid Jelly Blush - Bali / RRP £12.00
Here was me trying to try the product without taking off the clear lid LOL. It has to be the most creamy liquid blush I have seen but it has a lovely beautiful pink hue with lots of champagne sparkle.

πŸ‘€ EXTRA TREAT πŸ‘€

May Beauty | The Incredible Pore Strip / RRP £3.50
This is supposed to help get rid of pesky blackheads but I will be the judge of that in the upcoming days as most I have tried don't work. I really hope this works though.
Glossybox december 2018 review
LOOOOOVEEE. Glossybox has been a winner for me since I first subscribed to their boxes. I have noticed that this months box 'All That Glitters' has sold out and its no wonder why because it is such good value for money.

Every product in the box was completely new to me apart from the imperial lather unicorn shower gel. I love trying new brands and these ones haven't disappointed. I will post more about them on my blog and other social media once I know more about the brand and products so follow me on my other social media to keep up with that.

Popcorn Shed | Review

Hello everyone!
Popcorn has to be my number one snack, like ever! For me, a movie night or a trip to the cinema wouldn't be the same with a bag of popcorn. I am not choosy when it comes to popcorn I love sweet and savoury varieties ( even though I am not keen on just salted). You wouldn't believe how excited I was when I got these packets of popcorn from Popcorn Shed- the flavour selections had me spoiled for choice!
Popcorn Shed is the UK's first super premium gourmet popcorn on the market. The incorporate texture into their popcorn with ingredients such as chunks of nuts, chocolate and dried fruit. On their popcorn journey, they get tumbled in freshly made caramel then get sprinkled in either nut, melted chocolate or dried fruit, this makes sure each popcorn kernel is enriched with flavour.

Each box has its own unique personality and theme which I add to the charm of this brand. All of the ingredients are natural and also gluten free too. They are 7 flavours to choose from and they come in a variety of sizes such as packets, sheds and a large luxury jar which is a perfect gift ( I feel like gifting one to myself LOL).

Prices start at £3.50 for the sheds ( perfect for sharing) and £15 for the jars which are great for multiple servings over time or even a gift for a friend or family member.
Flavours I tried and my opinion
Salted Caramel ( Salted Caramel With Belgian Milk Chocolate) - This was the perfect blend of sweet and salt. It has a lovely crunch to it with the caramel, its divine.

Pecan Pie (Gourmet Caramel With Pecan Nut Pieces) - HEAVEN! This is my favourite popcorn of all time. The caramel was the perfect sweetness, not over the top. When eaten with the pecan pieces its melts into your mouth and it's just lovely.

Pop 'N' Choc - (Chocolate Caramel with Belgian Milk Chocolate) - These are now going to be my chocolate bar substitute as they have a lovely layer of chocolate and only have 120 calories per bag of popcorn.

Butterly Nuts (Peanut Butter Caramel with Roasted Peanuts) - Like pecan pie this also has nuts inside which combine perfectly with the caramel popcorn. My kids loved this one the most.

Berry-Licious (Raspberry & Dark Chocolate Caramel) - A decadent combination! It is the perfect blend of dark chocolate and raspberries.

Say Cheese ( Cheddar Cheese) - My second favourite of the bunch has to be this flavour! It tastes like wotsits but in popcorn form! Love the flavour, its exactly like a mild cheddar.

Sweet Cheesus ( A mix of Caramel and Cheddar) - A delicious blend of sweet and savoury. Very nice combination.
I just love Popcorn Shed and I can honestly say it is my favourite popcorn brand that I have ever tried! I enjoyed eating these while watching some of my Netflix favourites of 2018! I devoured a whole shed of 'Pecan Pie' to myself after watching a Bollywood film called Bahubali ( over a 3-hour long film) - They sure cheered me up after a very upsetting part of the film LOL!

If you want to try Popcorn Shed for yourself they can be bought in Superdrug, Selfridges and other stockists that can be found on there website. You can also purchase them on their Popcorn Shed website here.

Have you tried Popcorn Shed yet?

My Netflix Favourites 2018

Hello everyone!
Is it me or has this year been so fast? I can't believe it's going to be 2019 next month! I have had a little break from blogging but I'm back ! and with lots of blog posts in the framework. Netflix is one of my favourite apps ever and not only can you watch it on your TV but you can also watch it on the go such as on your phone or iPad, its magic!

Over the past year, I have watched some of the best movies and tv series and many of them made me laugh, cry and even gave me huge shocks. Some of the programmes on this list are continuations from previous series I have watched or totally new programmes or films that I have just got round to watching. Out of all the programmes, I would say Bollywood films have been the overall favourite this year.
My Netflix Favourites 2018
My Netflix Favourites 2018

Bob Ross: The Joy of Painting - 1983-1994
American Television Show
As we all know this isn't a new programme but I did enjoy watching this when I was growing up. I love how calm Bob Ross's voice is and encourages everyone to paint which is refreshing because myself, I love art. I love watching Bob Ross when I need to relax and its also a brilliant programme to watch before bed since its so calming.

Raees - 2017
Crime/Thriller
Raees is the 6th highest grossing Bollywood of 2017! This film is a fictional crime/thriller and starts off in the mid-sixties and ends in the lates 1980s. Based on the life of bootlegger Raees Alam ( played by Bollywood legend Shah Rukh Khan) and his business after ACP Majmudar try to get the better of him. Not only does this have a few fight scene and singing it also has a love story too. This film has lots of twists and turns and an ending that made me cry.. yes, I said it... I cried!

Altered Carbon: Season 1 - 2018
Science Fiction
Altered Carbon is based on a 2002 novel which has the same title by Richard K. Morgan. Where can I start with this because of its one of the best series I have watched. This is set 360 years into the future in the year 2384 in San Francisco which is now known as Bay City. Takeshi Kovacs is the sole surviving soldier from a group from 250 years prior called the Envoys which was a rebel group against the New World order. Humans aren't like the used to be they have stacks which can be interchanged between a different body. After 250 years Takeshi is awoken in a new body by a wealthy 'meth' called Laurens Bancroft ( one of the worlds wealthiest men) he wants Takeshi to solve a murder... his own!!!
My Netflix Favourites 2018
The Hangover 1-3 // 2009-2013
Comedy
These films are maybe over the top in parts but they are many funny parts in every movie. The best one has to be the second movie in my opinion even though the one in las vegas was hilarious too. The film is based on 4 friends who always seem to get into some crazy trouble a couple of days before wedding dates.

Frontier Season 3 -2018
Drama Series
This is the third instalment of Frontier, the first season first appearing back in 2016.
Back in the 1700s, the fur trade was booming and they were competition from everywhere including the HBC! You meet many characters who want a slice of the fur industry. The first 2 seasons had a lot of depth to them but with this season I did feel like a lot was missing and many things were unexplained but it is worth watching for sure.

Dr Strange - 2016
Fantasy/Science Fiction
I have been a big fan of Marvel for a long time but only just round to watching Dr Strange. I really liked Dr Stranges character in Avengers Infinity war which made me want to watch this film. Dr Stephen Strange's life changes after a car accident robbed him the use of his hands. After all, medicines fail he finds a mysterious enclave in which he learns amazing powers. Not long after he has to help defend the world from dark forces who want to change reality.
My Netflix Favourites 2018
Bahubali - The Beginning // 2015
Drama/Fantasy
This Bollywood film starts off with a lady running from a cave next to a waterfall with a newborn baby from guards. Unfortunately, the lady died but the baby was rescued and was raised with an adoptive mum and dad who lived near the extremely tall waterfall. The baby turns out to be the main character who is called Shivudu. As soon as Shiviudu can walk he tries his hardest to climb the waterfall but always failing. His mum is always worried and tries her hardest to stop him but to no avail... he eventually climbs it after 25 years and discovers who he is along the way...

Bahubali - The Conclusion // 2017
Drama/Fantasy
This has to be my favourite film in 2018. This film made me happy and they was a part I was crying for a good 10 minutes, it was deep! Now the first film was based on Shivudu finding out who he is and also about his family. This film is about his dad Bhallaladeva who was the queens son and he was a good and fair person. His brother was jealous and had him killed in a very deceptive way.  Shivudu finds out who he truly is... the rightful king.

I would explain more but I would 100% recommend watching both of these films. Even though these films are about 3 hours long but they are absoloutely worth watching(p.s. Both these films have standard english subtitles so everyone can enjoy!).
