What the Fudge Desserts Glasgow

Hello, Darlings!

I am partial to a delicious dessert every now and again and one of my favourite places to go whenever I get time to go is what the fudge. We got recommended this place off a client of my partner and we have been going here every now and again since.

What the Fudge desserts are a small dessert cafe based on Victoria Rd in Glasgow.  They offer a variety of different things including; cake, milkshakes and my personal favourite hot sweet waffles with ice cream. You can sit inside or you can takeaway which is handy because the shop can get quite busy at times.
what the fudge desserts glasgow review
The menu is above the counter or if you want to sit in you can sit at a booth and look at a menu and decide what food you want to order. I didn't take long to choose what to order because I am sooo addicted to hot waffles, they are my ultimate favourite!!!

What we ordered
Marshmellow cookie dough - yes you read that correctly! The most heavenly sugary combination
Strawberry and chocolate waffles - This waffle is covered in quartered strawberries and drizzles with warm chocolate.

Seeing as these are freshly made you have a little bit of waiting period before you get your order, especially if the shop is busy. Once the order came we were blown away with the detail they put in with our orders. They give you a good amount of toppings, the servings are big and they are beautiful too look at but I am sure you are all wondering, how do they taste?

The waffles were lovely and warm and the combination of the cholcate, strawberries and ice cream was just divine and my favourite out of the 2 that evening. I did like the marshmallow cookie dough but I know this sounds too daft but it was VERY SUGARY not that I usually mind but I thought a little OTT. I did like the combination of the marshmallows, cookie and ice cream. The ice cream complimented the warm cookie dough nicely.

My thoughts
I love going here for a treat as they are plenty of options to choose from and I have lost count of how many times we have been here now and we still love it and get different things each time too. My kids love the selection of icecreams here and ithasn'tt taken them long to choose there favourites. We mostly sit when we go here but sometimes we takeaway and have this at home if we have summit planned like watching a film. The decor and seating are very nice and has a superhero/retro vibes to it. The seating is comfortable and the staff are very friendly.

Lush Think Pink Bath Bomb

Hello, Darlings!

It has been a while since my last Lush bath tiger, tiger burning bright bath bomb so it was about time to step back into lush and get myself a new bath bomb to treat myself too. I have tried so many bath bombs over the years that I have actually lost track so I decided to be random and get a sparkly pink bath bomb called think pink.

I think this is a year-round product and is quite a big bath bomb don't you think? I think the fact its pink and sparkly was the biggest factor to why I bought this.
First impressions
Its pink and sparkly, whats not to love?

Design
Not 100% what the design is but I think it could be a bow design that a random all over the bath bomb.

Scent/fragrance
The 3 key ingredients inside think pink is the following; vanilla absolute, tonka absolute and neroli oil.

Ingredients

  • Sodium Bicarbonate
  • , Citric Acid, Cornflour, Perfume

  • , Snowflake; Silver Glimmer and Fandango Pink Lustre
  • Lavender Oil

  • Tonka Absolute,
  • Vanilla Absolute, Neroli Oil, Cream of Tartar

  • Titanium Dioxide,
  • Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Lauryl Betaine, DRF Alcohol

  • *Limonene,
  • *Coumarin, Colour 45410, Colour 14700, Colour 17200

     Cruelty-free and Vegan
    How to use
I think its best to use bath bombs once the bath is full of warm water; that way you can see the bath bomb in all its glory. Different products are different like bubble bars, oil melts etc.

    My thoughts
WOWWED by this fabulous Think Pink bath bomb! It was a pink galaxy of so many shades of pink and foam. It fizzed and foamed for 5 minutes before it melted completely and the bath was let a gorgeous fuschia pink. It has lots of sparkles and having a bath in this made me feel like I was magical. The scent was very nice and was very floral and sweet, kinda like a cake.It was super softening on the skin and felt like a treat.

I will 100% be buying this again in the future, it's gorgeous!

Have you bought anything in Lush lately?

Colour B4 Extra Strength Hair Colour Remover

    Hello, Darlings!

Now I have been dying my hair for many years and I was no stranger to using colour b4 products or similar products like them. Seeing as I have used these so many times I thought I could give my fair say on this hair colour remover. I must start by saying I am not the biggest fan of this but I can see why it's so popular.

Colour B4 is a hair colour remover and it basically works by shrinking the dye molecule back to its original size. Different factors can affect the results though.
     Whats inside the box?

    • Instructions with gloves
    • Activator A
    • Remover B
    • Buffer C
    What is it used for?
It is used for removing unwanted hair dye either to leave like that afterwards or to change your hair afterwards. Extra strength is for harder to remove hair dye and for myself, I wanted to remove Schwarzkopf cosmic blue and its renowned for being a brand that's hard to remove.

    How to use
Now for goodness sake, the instructions are super important for this and I would rather you read them on the instructions because its complicated and not following one step properly could affect the results of the product.

What you definitely need and I mean it LOL
    • Timer
    • Towel
    • TIME
    • The patience of a saint

    My thoughts
After following the instructions properly and apply this to my hair I left it for the required time and OMG if you don't know about this product... it really smells and I can't describe what it smells like but my god it's awful. Open the window you need lots of ventilation.

I felt like I was in the shower for 12 hours because it was a long process of washing out the product the buffing and rinsing... very rhetorical so you can honestly see why I said you need lots of time. I was actually tired off getting this out that I was hoping that this product worked wonders on my hair but to my disappointment it didn't work well at all and to top it off it made my hair feel really dry and very tangly and I actually regretted using it so much that I decided to get my hair cut short instead of using a product like this again. Now I know the picture of the after looks fine but my hair was patchy and went dry very quickly.
I do think results person to person though. My hair has had its fair share of hair dyes over the years and its worked sometimes better than others and also I wasn't expecting miracles with this product. This would be brilliant for anyone with unwanted hair dye but I would say if you have lots of hair dye or a complicated dye to remove I would honestly suggest going to a hairdresser.

As with any hair product, I would suggest doing the research first as I have dyed my hair and later regretted. Also, its good to know all the details on this too because on their website it has a huge Q&A section so it would be worth checking that out for sure.

    My advice
DO NOT use a permanent hair dye or bleach after using this product! It will take you back to you pre-colour b4. I did this before in the past. I would wait 2 months and I know that sounds like a long time but I waited 6 weeks before and it still took me to my pre-colour b4 hair so yeah. Homework is everything with colour B4.

    πŸ’šPIN MEπŸ’š

    How much is it?
About £10 but it can be found on offer if you look online.

Where can I learn more about colour b4?
    Check out their website.

Have you tried Colour B4 before? pardon the pun LOL

    June Beauty Favourites

    Hello Darlings

I haven't ever done a monthly beauty favourites blog post before so I thought it would be fun to share what I have been loving this month. Not sure if I will be posting these posts every month but I will post whenever I remember to do them. I actually could pick easily what I loved during June as I have used them all so much this month.

I do think I have a good variety of products that I loved last month including; makeup, skincare and haircare has come in a lot this month since I started to bleach my hair.
    June beauty favourites uk
I got this palette for my 27th birthday this past August. I have used it a lot since then but it got used a lot more this past month because I love using more warmer shade eyeshadows in the spring/summer months. I love using this to make a warm smokey eye look. I also use this as a contour, highlighter and sometimes for my brows too.

They are 12 warm shades in this palette such as burnt orange, browns and maroons. It includes a double-ended makeup brush that is a dream to use as it has super soft bristles.

I recently got my hair cut into a pixie style and this product makes styling my hair so easy. It adds definition very easily and also holds all day long. I love the scent of this as it contains pomegranate extract.

This comes from a variety of new loreal hair styling products. They also now offer so many bright and vibrant hair dyes now too which I am tempted to try out.

    Vatika Virgin Olive Hair Oil
I got recommended this by a friend a few years back for my dry and damaged hair. I was surprised how well this works at boosting how soft my hair feels and also refreshing my scalp too. I like to add generous amounts to my hair and scalp and leave it on as long as possible ( usually overnight) Its a great pick me up for hair.

I like to use this at least once a week to boost some much-needed hydration into my bleached blonde hair. It washes out nicely and you continue to wash your hair with your usual routine.

    June beauty favourites
I am in love with this lipstick and it is up there with my all-time favourite lipsticks, it is just so lush. I bought this in February and I have used it countless times since then. It is a matte finish but it so lovely and creamy to apply and then can I just say the pigmentation is just blinding its STUNNING! It is a gorgeous pink and mirrors a lovely blue hue.

I can't wait to add more of these lipsticks into my collection, they are a luxury that I like to have as the occasional treat.

I don't know how I managed without this before, it takes off makeup off like a breeze without any fuss. It's cooling on the skin and is fragrance-free. It is very simple to use; all you need to do is apply the required amount to cotton pad and wipe makeup off in circular motions.

This doubles over as a cleanser too and they are a few different varieties too of this including one with oil inside it.

The Body Shop British Rose Body Yogurt
I love the scent of roses and the rose scented products in the body shop are me all time favourites. This is a fairly new product and my goodness I am so glad I bought it when it first came out. It's so soft and smells lovely. Once it is on the skin it melts into the skin with ease and its non-greasy too.

I really wish I bought more of these in different scents, they are fabulous.

    Loreal Stylista The Pixie Cream-Wax

    Hello, Darlings!

As a few of my followers will know, I have cut my hair in a pixie cut and I have had this hairstyle for over a month now. Styling my hair has been a new experience and finding the right products for my hair was actually a walk in the park. They are so many choices to choose from now that it was pretty easy for me to choose this Loreal Stylista the pixie cream which is a styling wax for short hair like mine is right now.

Loreal is a big name and sell a variety of different products including makeup, haircare and even hair dyes too. This is the first time in using haircare product of theirs.
loreal stylista the pixie cream short hair styling wax
    Packaging
I just love how pink and cute the packaging looks! I think its quite small but the design is very nice as it shows you a pixie hairstyle ( one I try my hair like) and the necessary info you need about the product too.

    Texture
This feels really cool on the first touch and the texture is a bit like a denser version of conditioner. It is soft enough to pick up enough and it melts nicely into hands ready to onto the hair. It doesn't have a wax feel at all and is more like a cream.

    Scent/fragrance
This has a nice delicate floral/fruity scent which is really nice and refreshing. It has pomegranate extract and is also alcohol-free.

    Ingredients

    How to use

    1. Take required amount into hands and apply directly to the parts of the hair desired to be styled
    2. Scrunch and pinch for more definition.

loreal stylista the pixie cream short hair styling wax
    My Thoughts
I love the product and can't fault it at all apart from the fact it says 48 hours hold, I personally don't think so as I feel the need to wash my hair after a days wear with this as it makes my scalp a little bit greasy. Applying this is quite easy and it works a dream with the hold, I have had many a compliment with this pixie cream.

I love the scent of the product and the fact its non-greasy on the hands too. I am very happy to add this into my hair styling routine and would recommend it to anyone with short hair, pixie hair or just want a defined fringe.

    Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

    Hello, Darlings!

I must admit in the past I sometimes didn't take my makeup properly and committed the sin of using wipes to take my makeup off. I never knew what the big hype about it was until I started using micellar waters and makeup removing pads and things like that.definitelyinatly converted to using micellar waters in my skincare routine.

Garnier is a very well known brand that sells a variety of products including hair care, hair dyes and skincare products too. I have always like Garnier products because their products have a nice and fruity scent which is just lush don't you think?
    Packaging
It is very simple and sees through so you can see the product. As you can see from the photo the product is clear like water. The bottle comes in a variety of different sizes but mine is 400ml. It has nice pink details on the lid and has clearly written info that you need on the front and back of the product.

    Texture
Now you may be wondering how this feels and you would be quite surprised to know that it just feels like cool water.

    Scent/Fragrance
If you are like me and hate skincare product that has strong scents in them you will be happy to know that this is fragrance-free.

    How to use?
Well I basically apply it to a cotton wool pad ( usually 1 or 2 squirts of the bottle does it) I then use circular motions to remove makeup and my goodness this works wonders and even removes eyeliner and mascara effortlessly. Depending on how much makeup I wear I usually use about 1-3 pads of product. A good thing about this micellar water is that you don't need to rinse off after use which is super handy especially if you're like me and just want your makeup off then go straight to sleep.

This product not only removes makeup it also cleanses the skin at the same time so it is a great multitasking product.
    My thoughts
I have finally run out of this micellar water and I am super impressed with how long the bottle has lasted me. I do think its pretty accurate with the number of uses it says it has on the bottle. I love that you can use this on the whole of your face without buying a variety of different products for different jobs. It is fragrance-free too which is brilliant because my skin can have breakouts if I use fragranced products and trust me it's not fun as it can hurt.

Seeing as it feels like water its a pleasant experience removing my makeup. It is a fab way to start off my nighttime skincare regime too seeing as it has no fragrances and doesn't need to be washed off. I am on my way to buy another bottle now.

    How much is it?

Bleach London Silver Shampoo & Conditioner

    Hello, Darlings!

Many of you will remember when my hair was brunette and really long.. until recently that is. I decided to go for a pixie haircut and get bleached blonde hair and I know that sounds super drastic but its something I have been wanting to do for a while and I am super happy that I did because I think I suit it and my goodness I have had so many compliments, you all sure know how to make me blush, I am flattered.

Bleach London started out as an amazing and fun hair salon but now its much more than that as they sell a variety of cruelty-free hair dyes, hair care and even makeup now. I have used their products before when I was blonde a few years back and loved them then so as soon as I bleached my hair this time I knew which brand to go for.

bleach London shampoo and conditioner review
    Why a silver shampoo?
Well, it isn't literally silver its purple but it gives a nice ashy tone to hair and my hair needs that at it can get brassy tones without using a silver shampoo. It also helps brighten the hair and moisturises hair which is much needed if you have bleached hair.

    How to use?
You use it as any shampoo and just lather it up on your hair but I must admit being generous as its nice to get lots of lather and to make sure the product gets onto all the hair. Massage from root to tips of your hair and wash out with warm water.

    bleach London shampoo and conditioner
    Packaging
Ugh, slight problem with the packaging is the darn lid! It can be super annoying opening this up in the shower as its so flipping fiddly to open in the shower and once I do it could fly off anywhere LOL! I love the bottle its designed nicely, I love the font. The packaging for the conditioner is the same but with a different label.

    Scent
Now I can't pinpoint exactly what this smells like but to me, it smells like violets and very floral, it is very pleasant and has to be my favourite scent haircare product I've tried. The conditioner smelts the same and the texture was much more smooth than the shampoo which is expected.

    Benefits
This eliminates yellow tones in hair to give an ashy blonde tone. It contains wheat proteins and vitamin B5 to moisturise hair. The conditioner softens and moisturises the hair and also retains the hairs colour.

    bleach London silver shampoo
    My thoughts
I love the combination of both of these products on my hair. They refresh my blonde locks every few days to give my hair a nice cool effect which I just love. The bottle isn't big enough for me but they do offer bigger bottles of this which is more like it for me. The scent is one of my favourite things about this and wow I will definitely be buying again.

I don't like complaining but the lid is annoying and could do with being an easier to open the bottle and also something to slow down how much product comes out at a time. You have to be super prepared for how much you are needing with these bottles because you might accidentally get too much if not careful because I sure have done it a few times haha.

I would definitely recommend these as they work wonderfully together and I will definitely be repurchasing both but in bigger bottles next time.

    Uber Sonic Toothbrush Subscription

    Hello, Darlings!

I have had enough dental problems to last me a lifetime but I do take care of my teeth as much as possible but ever since I fell off my bike and broke my front teeth I have been careful to take care of them as much as possible and that includes using an electric toothbrush, mouthwash and a high fluoride toothpaste prescribed to me.

At Uber Sonic they offer high-quality tooth care products and they closely work together with dentists to bring the best toothcare products. They think the key to a healthier smile is to change your toothbrush often for a nice healthy smile.

    uber sonic toothbrush subscription review
    So what is Uber Sonic?
They are basically a subscription service that delivers you a toothbrush and after that, they send you replacement heads every few months for your toothbrush to keep your toothbrush at its optimum. The toothbrush is electric and comes with a charger, 2 starter heads and a charger.

    What is included?
It basically depends on what package you choose but I kindly got sent the starter package which includes the following products.
    Starter kit

    • 1 Uber Sonic Brush
    • 1 Tooth whitening kit
    • 1 Refill pan
They are other packages available for couples and small families but another for larger families etc.

    ΓΌber sonic toothbrush subscription
    First Impressions
When I got the box I was pleasantly surprised at how well it was presented in its box. You get all the products you need to brush your teeth and also to recharge it too. It comes in a nice silver chrome handle but I was a little uncertain with the bristles because to me they feel a little too soft and it doesn't look much different to a manual toothbrush. They are huge differences between my oral-b electric toothbrush at this in my opinion and I will tell you why more during this post.

    Using the toothbrush
It works like most electric toothbrushes by pressing a button on the front of the brush. It basically vibrates the handle and the brush doesnt do much to be honest. The bristles don't do anything but I would be careful not to knock your teeth with this brush as it can make your teeth rattle which isn't brill. It is simple enough to use and very easy to clean though.

ΓΌber sonic toothbrush subscription box review
    My thoughts
I do love the concept of this toothbrush and it's a great idea to have it as a subscription box because its fab way to remind you to change your toothbrush head because I know for me sometimes for me its not always easy to remember. I would love to give it huge ratings but they are some important problems that would make it so much better if changed. The first one being is the charge doesn't last very long ( a couple of days max) and can suddenly go off during brushing. Secondly, I am not keen on the bristles I find them a little too soft for my liking but I know some people may like that but it is not for me seeing as my dentist tells me how to take care of my teeth.

I do still use this brush and will continue to use it alongside my oral-b brush. I love the idea of this subscription box and wish the company well!

    Hello, Darlings!

I have always been intrigued to trying stick foundations ever since I was suggested to try out Bobbi Browns skin foundation skin. Picking foundation shades can be a right pain for me as I usually get alabaster and shade 2.0 in urban decay. I swatched a few of the testers in Superdrug and found that F4 suited my skin tone best.

The packaging is quite nice in a nice nude shade with rose cold details and writing. The inside is equally as nice with more rose gold and the foundation stick. It does feel quite nice and doesn't feel like a budget product at all. The product itself is super smooth and I was pleasantly surprised by that because it's much easy to use that way. You would think that with it being creamy that it would be thrown to breaking but nope it works its way down like a lipstick would.

    How to use
Basically, you apply this to your face as much as needed and you can blend it with your fingers, foundation brush but my favourite way has to be with my beauty blender, it's so effortless.

    My thoughts
This foundation definalty exceed my expectations and the price tag of £5 is such a bargain for this. It has a light to medium finish and feels weightless on the skin. It doesn't transfer either which is a big bonus on the warmer days we have a few days of the year LOL! I will definitely be buying this again in the future.

Lush Brazened Honey Fresh Face Mask

    Hello, Darlings!

I love treating myself to face masks and following on from last months post on the body shops British rose fresh plumping mask I decided to try something new. I have tried a few Lush face masks in the past but it been a while since my last one so got myself a one I haven't tried before and one that a lush employee recommended to me.

Choosing this face mask took me about 20 minutes to decide because they all sound amazing and all have different benefits.

    Texture
This is a detoxing fresh face mask so its a little bit rough to stimulate and detox the skin. It is a little bit like body scrubs that exfoliate the skin.

lush brazened honey fresh face mask review
    How to use
I like to use this like I use my other face mask and that it by using a face mask brush and applying generous amounts of product to my face ( avoiding the eye area) We personally like to keep this on our face until it dries which is about 10 to 15 minutes.

After the time has elapsed we either wash it off with warm water in the sink with a flannel or go into the shower which saves time and is quite easy too.
    My thoughts
Even though I want to go screaming from the rooftops about how much I like this product, I just can't unfortunately. The formula, in my opinion, is far too thick and applying to the face can take some time. Not only that it can be crumbly so when applying this I would definitely recommend doing it over a sink because it can get messy.

It does have a lovely pleasant smell to it and did leave my skin feeling fresh and clean after using but to say my skin felt detoxed would be a step too far to say. I wouldn't be buying this again, unfortunately.
