Making Delicious Gluten-Free Protein Pancakes with Muscle Moose!

Making Delicious Gluten-Free Protein Pancakes with Muscle Moose!
Pancakes are one of my go-to breakfast or dessert choices! I love how versatile they can be and the amount of variations you can create seems to be endless! My favourite at the moment has to be pancakes with strawberries, the skinny food co maple syrup and chocoholic hazelnut spread, just heaven.. mmmm!

When it comes to foods that have protein added in them sometimes they can be a bit thick to eat and for me, I am not a fan of but with these pancakes they are fluffy and delicious which is a treat.

These pancakes come in 2 different flavours; Golden Syrup and also Chocolate raspberry. I was kindly sent the Golden Syrup to try.

Ingredients
Protein Blend: (Whey Protein Concentrate (MILK), Pea Protein, Egg Albumin, Gluten-Free Oat Flour, Modified Starch, Inulin, Flavourings, Acidity Regulator: Sodium Bicarbonate, Sweetener: (Sucralose)

Vegetarian-friendly
  • Gluten-Free: Yes.
  • Allergen Warnings: Milk. Egg.

Mixing Instructions
Simply mix 50g ( 2 scoops) to 75 of water ( I like to use almond or oat milk as is makes it much more creamy) then simply mix/whisk together. This amount is enough to make 2 generous size pancakes. 2 Pancakes is about 194 calories.

My Favourite Pancake toppings!
Now the number of pancake toppings is never-ending I thought it would be best to keep it short and sweet and just tell you guys some of my favourites!
First up I like maple syrup, banana, strawberries with egg! Another combination I adore has to be Nutella with crushed nuts such as almonds or pistachios.

My thoughts
I am one of those people who likes having a choice for breakfast like honestly, I couldn't have the same breakfast every day. Somedays I would want cereal, toast or other pancakes. I know these are based as breakfast and I do enjoy them as a breakfast but I do like them as a treat with my fav toppings.

The instructions were simple enough and making them is quite fun and uncomplicated to do. You get 26.2g of protein per 2 pancakes which is pretty amazing if you ask me! I would definitely buy these again!

How much are Muscle Moose pancakes?
They cost £14.99. Which works out at 10 portions of 2 pancakes in the 500g bag. Which works out at just under £1.50 per portion.

Where can I buy Muscle Moose products?
They are widely available in many Asda stores but they are also available to buy online including their own website here.

Thanks for reading!
Until next time
